Competition Period: July 24th 2019 12pm PST to July 31st 2019 12pm PST
Starting on July 24th 2019 at noon PST players will be able to download the official demo of Neon Exile from Steam and compete for the fastest time to finish the Vanguard training exam. The competition ends on July 31st at noon PST at which point the top 20 players on the timed leaderboard will win a free Steam key for the full game.
The exam is a physical test of speed, agility and quick thinking as players will have to climb, leap and fight in room-scale VR.

To participate in the competition
- Download the demo on our Steam page (available July 24 2019)
- In the main menu (your apartment) select the “Training” cable and connect it to your head.
- The first part of the training level starts off with a tutorial covering the basic mechanics. The timed exam section start is marked and has running timers throughout the section showing your time in seconds.
- The test ends if
- you exceed the time limit, which resets you back to the start
- you complete the course (marked by a monitor that will tell you your final time)
- You are killed
- Feel free to retake the exam as many times as you like before the end date.
Rules
- Players will be able to resubmit a score as often as they like within the Competition Period.
- Times are submitted only when a player completes the level.
- Shortest times are best.
- The official leaderboard is visible within the game’s main menu.
- Winners are required to contact Mythical City Games through our contact form and verify their Steam account to receive a key.
- Mythical City Games reserves the right to select winners in case of issues resulting from errors, internet connections or any other condition which may arise during the competition.
- No purchase necessary. The competition can only be entered from within the free demo.
- Void where prohibited by law.
Eligibility
- Players must be 18+ years old, entries not valid where prohibited by law.
- Mythical City Games employees, contractors or directors and their families are not eligible.
